Creativity with a twist!

Joseph was informed that Caring To Death was selected as a Quarter Finalist, then moved on to Top Finalist in the Brooklyn Film Festival. What an incredible honor.

Joseph has written several award-winning screenplays, ranging from Caring To Death, a murder mystery based on a true criminal case, to A Flip of Fate, a romance drama that weaves actual events into an exciting narrative. He is also the screenwriter of Marks of Freedom, a historical drama set in the late 1800s about an African-American who rose from being the son of a free slave to a prominent U.S. ambassador. This remarkable protagonist overcomes humble beginnings as a barber living in Iowa to achieve phenomenal success, including winning a state supreme court case and serving as a spokesperson for President Ulysses Grant.
A book is in the works reflecting on the many life/death situations that Joseph experienced through his life. He hopes that inspires people to 'push through' similar experiences and to have hope. He has been asked to do several speaking engagements about these unique experiences. A novel titled, Swarm of Wannabees, is another project. Written for young adults, the story incorporates the challenges of five teenage girls living in a depressed town located in the rural mountains of West Virginia. Unusual behavior and unique capabilities make this drama very compelling with life-long lessons for readers of all ages.
